Keane Consulting: sponsorship and philanthropy
The concept of "living our values" for Keane Consulting includes supporting the local, Canberra community. Our sponsorship and philanthropic activity provides benefit and support to three key areas:

grass roots development of youth through sport
the impoverished and vulnerable
progression for women in STEM-based careers

However, we do not simply provide charitable donations or sponsorship. The community organisations which Keane Consulting support are those our employees have an active, participatory role with. This ensures that we give more than just "cash"; we also give our time and effort to build a better future for those we interact with.

Keane Consulting currently provides financial aid, delivery of pro-bono services, and/or volunteer assistance to the following organisations.

Women in ICT (WIC)
WIC is the premier organisation for women in Information and Communication. It is run by volunteers and aims to:

provide events where women in the information and communication industry can network for mutual benefit

inspire women in this industry to take their careers to new heights
publicly recognise and promote the talents and contributions of WIC members
provide a range of activities to increase the participation of women in the information and communications industries
have fun! One of the most valuable aims of WIC is to ensure that members, interested associates, supporters and participants have fun.

Rotary - Canberra Sunrise (Canberra Sundowners)
The Rotary Canberra Sunrise Club are committed to the ideals of contributing to a better local, national and international community. The Club provides assistance to local, national and international community service and development projects.

The Canberra Sundowners are a small and vibrant team within the Canberra Sunrise Club, with a strong hands on and primarily local community service focus.

Bears Touch Football
The Bears are a touch football club in Canberra rejuvenated very recently by "touch football parents" with focus on to developing juniors. They are a fast growing club with an aim to support players to attain representative honours across all age groups. The key focus for the club is entering teams that mix "old hands" and developing and new players...teaching the game whilst playing.

Vikings Touch football
Vikings Touch is a long standing club within the community; with a special focus on juniors, women and developing players for representative honours.
Keane Consulting has been part of premiership wins in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Legacy Scootaville
The trip is organised by the RAAF Radschool Association based in Brisbane, partly to celebrate the centenary of the Royal Australian Air Force but also to raise funds for Legacy Brisbane, who support the families of veterans who have lost their lives or health as a result of their service.

The Association was established in 1999 for graduates of the RAAF Radio School, but its membership now includes veterans from all three services. Its work includes organising reunions for veterans, reuniting old mates, and helping members in their dealings with DVA.
