TSPV and NON-TSPV ROLES
REDSPICE (Resilience, Effects, Defence, SPace, Intelligence, Cyber, Enablers) is designed to respond to these challenges.
It is the most significant single investment in ASD’s 75-year history. REDSPICE will maintain Defence's edge and continue to ensure that Australia is best prepared to respond to the strategic and technology environment. ASD's REDSPICE will deliver forward-looking capabilities essential to maintaining Australia's strategic advantage and capability edge over the coming decade and beyond. ASD has engaged Keane through ASD's Technical Support Services (TSS) Panel to support REDSPICE in identifying and engaging long term contractors to deliver the REDSPICE initiatives and meet its goals. |
Update on Current submissions
As of March 2025, Keane has a number of candidates identified by ASD as “successful” and have subsequently completed the REDSPICE “Organisational Suitability Assessment” (OSA). These candidates have been prioritised due to their technical skill sets.
A lot has changed since August 2023 when the REDSPICE EOI for a contracting workforce was released by ASD to Keane through the TSS Panel: changes to procurement mechanisms; the change in the contracting environment driven by the current Government’s mandate to reduce contractor numbers and increase APS staffing levels; and the expiry of ASD’s TSS Panel.
ASD recently advised Keane that those candidates that have not already received a successful outcome (in OSA) are no longer in the evaluation process and can be advised that they will need to re-apply for suitable roles that are released in the future. This is somewhat disheartening after the time that has elapsed. In saying that, ASD have been releasing numerous roles relating to REDSPICE in recent weeks.
