    The Solutions Architect will provide authoritative technical direction for mission system sustainment and would ensure coherent technical design governance associated with the Direct Satellite Access (DSA) in alignment of system evolution with organisational objectives, policy and long-term capability direction. 
    The Solutions Architect will oversee complex integrations across multi-vendor components, manage technical risk and ensure consistent application of design patterns, which is essential to maintaining system resilience and sustainment efficiency.

    Job Details:
    Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.

    Key duties and responsibilities:
    • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a complex ICT environment containing both CISCO and Juniper based networking systems, as well as Cryptographic Networking devices. 
    • With guidance, monitor the reliability of systems using standard procedures and tools to carry out defined system configuration, backups and restoring data where necessary. This includes the use of network management tools to collect and report on load and performance statistics. 
    • With guidance, capture and respond to incidents, problems and changes within the IT service management platform. This includes administration of accounts and permissions. 
    • Contribute to the dentification of operational problems and contribute to their resolution. 
    • Assist in documenting existing and new features and processes related to system support and enhancement.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Lead and manage installation, configuration and maintenance of multiple systems.
    • Use of automation tools for development of; and continuous configuration management of system builds.  
    • Manage and provide advice for ongoing hardware and operating system support.
    • Provide guidance and uplift capability of other team members. Work as a member of an integrated team and effectively prioritise, allocate tasks, participate in and contribute to design reviews, stakeholder meetings.
    • Work with system administrators and software developers to continuously improve processes and procedures.
    • Navigate a complex business environment with only limited direction.
    • Communicate with a diverse stakeholder group in technical and business process terms. 
    • Support deployment of Kubernetes and VMWare based malware analysis tools across different cloud environments.
