Role Description:
Provide specialist advice to the INT Program team in DSTG, engage with selected Projects to understand project requirements, engage with subject matter experts and S&T capability providers, co-design S&T plans to meet Project requirements.
The position will also assist with financial management and program reporting.
This role requires a TSPV clearance.
Major Responsibilities:
Liaise with selected IIP Projects to understand project requirements, analyse technical risks and communicate potential S&T solutions.
Engage with subject matter experts and S&T capability providers to explore project technical risks and potential S&T solutions.
Provide specialist advice to the DSTG Intelligence Program team and co-design S&T plans to meet Project requirements and balance INT Program commitments.
Manage the project schedule and other artefacts using the DST Group APOLLO Project Management Information System (Microsoft Project Server);
Maintain and manage financial systems.
Prepare routine and ad hoc reports to support project management.
Other Skills:
Substantial knowledge and experience of Defence business, and ideally with the Defence Intelligence Enterprise
Ability to prioritise own work load with minimal supervision to deliver agreed outcomes;
Be experienced with financial management in Aus Govt. agencies, ideally with Defence

Role Description:

Role Description:
Gateway Services Section within the Enterprise Technology Division of the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) has a requirement for a Project Support Officer (PSO) to assist with projects run within the section. The PSO must be an organised and outcomes orientated individual with good communication skills, confident in supporting a number of technical projects and work packages from concept to delivery. Role Description:
Strategic Communications Office and DEF103 are scoped to undertake capital acquisitions to deliver new communications capabilities and also activities to sustain and enhance existing communication services both domestically and internationally.
The Project requires the services of suitably qualified project manager to assist in the planning and management of day to day work of the project and maintain adequate records to validate compliance with approved management planning requirements and project management methodologies.
Major Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of project related activities to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly support the achievement of Defence’s Strategic Objectives.

Role Description:

These capabilities consist of a combination of:

To facilitate this ASD has a requirement for multiple Project Support Officers. ASD seeks a Project Support Officer that has a proven history of working in complex projects and contributing to the organisational capability within the project. The Project Support Officer is accountable under general direction to assist several team leads in the delivery of the Project to provide effective administration, procurement and finance support to technical projects. The Project Support Officer will work independently to undertake a range of administrative tasks including maintaining Risk Registers, Stakeholder Matrix, and management of Program and Project artefacts within the team. The Project Support Officer will take responsibility for the provision of support services to projects, use and recommends project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking projects whilst supporting programme or project control boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings. The successful candidate will be required to work cohesively and communicate effectively with other project team staff and stakeholder groups.
Major Responsibilities:
Maintain program and project Risk Registers; including regular reviews and updates; advising team members if they have been nominated to execute risk treatment; and facilitating project risk workshops.
Maintain project documentation including establishment of a document library and control methods for finalised project documents. Ensure that all final documents meet audit requirements and are easily retrievable.
Implement stakeholder communication plans, enhancing customer and stakeholder relationships.
Provide administration support including schedule maintenance, monthly reporting, and resource management.
Provide general administrative support including management of project record keeping requirements and systems; secretariat support for project meetings and forums and other communications.
Provide complex office and administrative support to the Program Office.
Other Skills:
Knowledge of the Project Management methodologies.
Demonstrated administration and organisational skills within Defence’s Desktop Environments.
Demonstrated experience in the management of project governance board engagements.
